today was a day of many firsts. the first and most
obvious was it was martin's first father's day. happy
father's day hubbies!!
i took him to a surprise breakfast to russell's where
margot sat in a high chair for the first time. she's still
too small so we had to pad it with martin's sweaters.
we brought one of these from martin's sister, cynthia,
but we were too stupid to figure it out. we gave up
after 10 minutes. we're going to have to read the instruction
manual.
it was margot's first time dropping her toys on the
floor. i've seen babies make a game out of this the entire
meal, so something to look forward to. it's also the first
time she's talked SO MUCH.
today was also mario's first father's day and we went over
to visit him, mason and vonny with some strawberry
donuts from the donut man (our first one—delicious!).
